I have an onboard intel 845 chipset using the
snd-intel8x0 alsa driver for sound, everything
works fine except that alsactl hangs on either
a save or restore, except during the initial
boot it when it loads ok. I'm using alsa
0.9.4 and I'm sure I've removed any trace of
old versions and I can't figure out why it
doesn't work.
