I have soundcore module I have installed alsa 0.9.0rc6 driver,lib,utils but when i insert the module via82xx into the kernel (RehHat 8) i have

/lib/modules/2.4.18-14/kernel/sound/acore/snd.o: insmod snd-via82xx failed
