Hi, When KDE is compiled for OSS driver only, it doesn't show any ALSA midi device. I don't know if this is feature or bug (KDE), but this is not problem of ALSA but problem of KDE. (There is test in KDE - compiled for OSS and runing on ALSA - not use midi from ALSA - not use alsa oss emulation) Try to use pmidi (it is only comand line and is small), it should work.
