Hi, I have an Intel ICH5 platform with an AD1985 (it shares the 3 jacks for 5.1 output and input).
The "front" output is coming from the Blue jack, instead of the Green jack. I think this is because the blue jack, which is supposed to be the surround is using the "line out" pin on the codec, while the green jack uses the "surround/HP" pin. In this case the surround/HP pin is actually supposed to be the front. I heard from the source, Analog, that all 1985 systems are configured this way... So it seems like Alsa can just setup the codec this way by default. Is there an install or module switch that I can add that will change to this type of functionality?
