I'm using alsaplayer 0.99.59 that came with
debian 3.0r1 and I downloaded alsa drivers, lib, utils, and
tools version 0.9.3c, this happens with both my onboard i8x0
audio and my creative extigy. How stable is alsa right now,
would it be better downgrade 0.9.2 or would upgrading to 0.9.4
fix my problem? I've had other problems recentlty too, one
which completely locked my machine up a couple of times, I'm
about ready to go back to oss.
