hello! i'm still having trouble getting surround sound to work in xine with alsa. i'm using a soundblaster 128 (es1371). everything seems to work ok until i select one of the surround channels in xine (4, 5, or 5.1 channels). when i try this, xine keeps telling me that pcm may be in use by another program. i followed all of the install instructions from the alsa page on freshrpms.net, including killing esd, but no luck. i have no idea how to check what other program(s) might be using pcm.
