i just downloaded the new version of alsa. sound from line is ok, i lost sound from the CD, and i still receive the continual looping over a small segment of sound. using aplay produces aplay: pcm_write:1025: write error: Input/output error.
mark mueller wrote something like Set to ALSA as the default driver. Set 48000 for the Sample rate and Set to 16bit by default for the Sample whateveritis :) also set it to full duplex operation. Guess what !?!?
