Hello, I've just downloaded 0.9.rc8c release of alsa-lib and managed to compile the whole set of module. ( rc8b driver, rc8c lib, rc8 util, rc8 oss )
However, when I try to test sounds with aplay but ... no sound comes from the box ! Except a "scratchy" sound quoting the start and the end of the sound ... :-( Note that PCM, CD, Master are unmuted and set to 50% What should I do now so as to get sounds from the box ? ( Anyway , I've alreaedy wiped WinXP from the box ! :-) ) I think that I've done something wrong on my laptop. But I don't know why ?!! Any idea ? Again thanks a lot for your help and you project.
