Hi Folks,
here my little alsa problem:
I'm using alsa-driver-0.9.9rc7 (since today rc8) on my motherboard MSI
KT4V-L (AMD XP2400+) with VT8235 Chipset. My distro is SuSE 8.1 with the
latest mantel-kernel k_athlon-2.4.20-18.i586.rpm and the latest kernel
source.

Compiling makes no problem but playing tuxracer or UT2003. The sound is
very quick and strange. The kernel shows me the following messages:

Mar 3 12:49:12 linux03 kernel: ALSA ../alsa-kernel/pci/via82xx.c:675:
invalid via82xx_cur_ptr, using last valid pointer
Mar 3 12:49:43 linux03 last message repeated 6 times
Mar 3 12:50:36 linux03 last message repeated 798 times

Here the output from lspci (APIC and ACPI enabled):
00:11.5 Multimedia audio controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. VT8233 AC97
Audio Controller (rev 50) Subsystem: Micro-star International Co
Ltd: Unknown device 7120 Flags: medium devsel, IRQ 22
        I/O ports at e000 [size=256]
Capabilities: [c0] Power Management version 2

With alsa version rc6 I have no problems. Can you help?

Thanks,
