Hi,
I'm trying to play sound on my receiver (Sony STR925DB throught SPDIF
out on my computer). The receiver is capable to play 22, 44.1 and 48khz.
Alsa 0.9.0rc7 is installed, cvs version from yesterday also tried. I
have perfect sound on my analog outputs but nothing throught spdif. I
tried different settings for mixer but no sound played. Optical cable is
ok (i tested it with external dvd player). My motherboard is Gigabyte
GA-8PE667 (i845PE, with ALC650). Kernel is 2.4.20, distribution is
debian/sarge, compiler - gcc3.2
I also tried with this settings (I saw them from mailing lists for via
chipsets and the same LC650)
- "IEC958 Output" to true
- "IEC958 Playback" to true
- "IEC958 SPSA" to 0
Any help, sussgestion ?
