Hi, I've been trying to get my Extigy card to work with Linux, and I've managed to get it to play fine (although it plays at the wrong speed with MPlayer, it works for everything else though). The problem I'm having is with the mixers. When I try to use amixer or alsamixer I just get errors
[iain@discomachinegun usb]$ amixer amixer: Mixer load error: default [iain@discomachinegun usb]$ alsamixer alsamixer: function snd_mixer_load failed: Invalid argument I can only control the Extigy volume if I use an OSS mixer (like gnome-volume-control). How do I get the mixer to work natively?
