Thank you for the quick work. Ehem... I'll better wait a day or two until there's a snapshot available at http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa/ftp/cvsexport I've not even installed the CVS program and shudder at the very thought of learning its blackish art. Btw, Pavel Roskin posted a patch on the dev list to make timer.c in CVS compile. Works on the 2003-02-07.tar.bz2 snapshot, but at least one issue remains: Making all in aserver make[1]: Entering directory `/home/loke/downloads/temp/realtemp/alsa/alsa-lib/as erver' source='aserver.c' object='aserver.o' libtool=no \ depfile='.deps/aserver.Po' tmpdepfile='.deps/aserver.TPo' \ depmode=gcc /bin/sh ../depcomp \ gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../include -I../include -I../src/pcm -g -O2 -c `test -f aserver.c || echo './'`aserver.c /bin/sh ../libtool --mode=link gcc -g -O2 -o aserver aserver.o ../src/libaso und.la mkdir .libs gcc -g -O2 -o .libs/aserver aserver.o ../src/.libs/libasound.so -lm -ldl -lpthr ead ../src/.libs/libasound.so: undefined reference to `snd_timer_async' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[1]: *** [aserver] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/loke/downloads/temp/realtemp/alsa/alsa-lib/ase rver' make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 Regards, Mats Johannesson ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.NET email is sponsored by: SourceForge Enterprise Edition + IBM + LinuxWorld = Something 2 See! http://www.vasoftware.com _______________________________________________ Alsa-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/alsa-user
