Hi. I recently posted about my mixer having absolutely no effect on my Debian box running ALSA 0.9.0rc6 with my SBLive. Today I discovered that if I connect the SBLive to my digital speakers with an ANALOG connection, the mixer works. However, if I try to use the SPDIF cable for this connection, the mixer is completely ineffective and only the hardware volume controls work. Does anybody know how to configure the SBLive to control the digital volume as well?
