Hello, Unfortunately I get no answer to this problem in alsa-user and alsa-devel. My workaround is, first to boot into Windows (the soundcard is initialized by the Windows Terratec driver and mixer) and then to restart the PC into linux with a warm boot: the front box is working then. (I have not tried all features of the frontbox) Wolfgang
