Hi you were able to help me to get midi working on my Mandrake 9.0 I have had a strange hardware problem which caused me to reinstall Mandrake. I lost all my midi settings as a result. The key as I remember was getting pmidi to install. I remember that I was missing a alsa file but can't remember which.
I do remember writing to you and or the group to thank you for your help, and tell you how I resolved it. I looked in the archives but didn't see that final letter, could be I didn't send it to the group, which was a mistake. Do you have that letter or remember what I did. Sorry for not saving the info.
