I have installed the latest alsa-{libs,drivers,utils} packages, for the
ESS-1869 packages using the snd-es18xx module. I wasn't able to make
this card work, as far I as I came up with is that, this card isn't a
PNP card, I applied the options for the module in the modules.conf file.
The options I used was; options snd-es18xx port=0x220 irq=5
mpu_port=0x330 dma1=1
I have also tried to enter the values in ""s, it still didn't work when
I did modprobe snd-es18xx.
Those values I grabbed from 'sndconfig' program.
I checked /proc/pci and dmesg output but there aren't any info about
this card. Any help is appreciated. The computer is Compaq Armada 1750

BTW, i am going crazy while I am writing this I can't find a way to make
