I have a CS 4236B chips on my motherboard which have worked with RH7.2 supplied CS 4232 driver.
When I tried to record through MIK, it seemed not to work with the driver any more. So I bought a new sound card from Creative PCI 128.
I installed all required modules for SB PCI 128 on RH7.2 according to the instructions from ALSA project.
All sound related kernel modules seems to be working properly, but I can not hear any sound even a noise from my PC speakers which worked with RH supplied CS 4232 driver. Anyone, who has a comment for this situation, please help me.
