I am installing the 0.9.0rc6 drivers and am experiencing no record audio from the mic or line inputs. I can hear my audio in the speakers but when I cat /dev/dsp, I get no output from the device. I can cat test.wav > /dev/dsp and hear the wave file on the speakers. I have tried playing with all the settings in alsamixer with no sucess. I have alsa drivers running on another system with onboard ac97 sound and they work perfectly. I would like to get them working on this system. Can anyone help?
