Hail ALSA aficionados! After installing 0.9.0rc3-0.3 on a Debian box, sound played through /dev/dsp is (choose one: pulsing, modulated or throbbing) at about one cycle per second.
I notice it when using applications named "plaympeg" and "tuxracer". Does anyone happen to know why audio would throb?
