I'm currently trying to build Jazz++ 4.1.8 from source (I'm trying to incorporate the patch that allows it (at least theoretically) to work with ALSA 0.9.)
The build relies on the pre-existence of the wxwin library, which I'm also having to build, and this is proving an interesting challenge. wxwin itself relies on motif, which I haven't got: however, the wxwin readme suggests that some users have managed to get it to build with lesstif (so far, I've not been among them.) I was just wondering if anyone else on the list had managed to get Jazz 4.1.8 to build successfully from source, and whether or not they managed to get it to work with ALSA 0.9. Also, whilst on the subject, one further question: has anyone on the list ever managed to get a combination of any softsynth, any MIDI sequencer and ALSA 0.9 to work together?
