I picked up an Oxygen today, and I seem to get as far as
getting the firmware loaded (via midisport_firmware)
and loading the snd-usb-audio module,
but I don't seem to be able to actually use it.
I have kernel 2.4.19, with the latest hotplug and fxload
sources from the hotplug sourceforge page (not from cvs).
When I start alsa, the snd-usb-audio module starts:
$ sudo /etc/init.d/alsasound restart
Shutting down sound driver: done

Starting sound driver: snd-virmidi done
Starting sound driver: dummy done
No state is present for card virmidi
When I plug in the oxygen I get this in /var/log/messages:
