I have SBLive (rev 07) and ALSA-0.9rc6. With ac3dec I can hear sound in center, if I turn on "surround" in alsamixer, but it must be "center". In mplayer I can't hear center/LFE with oss emulation. With -ao alsa9 I can't set up 6 channels: "...invalid argument...". I try to read source code of ac3dec and compare to mplayer: mplayer use 16 bit little endian format, ac3dec use surround51 device with ac3 format. Why in mplayer can't be used ac3 format with ac3 audio streams? If I try to set -ao alsa9:surround51 I hear some noises, but in center channel too. With opensource creative driver I can't hear sound in center channel in any applications. Under win2k with native driver all work's fine. With kx driver I have same problem. What should I do?
