Yay, it worked!  :)

Now I just have to figure out how to mix internal sound and sound comming 
from an external source (analog inputs 3 and 4 in this case), and let it 
be output on either one analog output pair or the digital output. I guess 
this means that I have to tweak around with my .asoundrc file?

Another problem now: XMMS with the ALSA output plugin works, but it plays
the music whith around half the speed, and I cannot control the volume 
from xmms.
