the mixer for sb live was always confusing but it used to sort
of work, the latest changes make it even more confusing and, as
far as I can tell, less functional. I hope I am mistaken and I
would appreciate any info on what's going on.
master volume used to work - now it doesn't. The sound is OK,
the last element in mixer (called SB Live) is muted, 5.1 sound
sounds cool (I am not sure what exactly comes out out of each
speaker, I guess the rear ones just repeat whatever is in front
ones).
front panel mic 2/line 2: I couldn't capture it before but at
least the sound got through to the output, now no matter what I
do (with mixer controls that I don't understand) I cannot hear
it - is there any way to get it through?
front panel RCA connectors: same as line 2 - couldn't capture
but could get the sound through, now the sound doesn't get
through. any magic?
not sure what details to provide, my sound works OK, midi,
wave, headphones, tone control etc all work fine.
apparently there was some work done on mixer since it has
new/different controls available but I haven't seen any info
about what/how is being changed, whether we are in temporary
mixer breakage zone etc. I would appreaciate some info about
what's going on...
