Okay, so I edited the options line to read: options snd-cs4236 isapnp=0 index=0 id=card0 enable=1 port=0x530 cport=0x538 sb_port=0x220 irq=5 mpu_irq=9 dma1=0 dma2=1 Unfortunately, /var/log/messages says that ISA PnP is still used, finding nothing.
