OK, I have downloaded, compiled and installed alsa-driver-0.9.0rc3 It failed to compile on 2.4.20-pre11.
back with 2.4.19, it seemed to compile OK. What is more, after installing I can actually load the module (snd-via8233) After playing with the mixer levels, I am even getting sound out of this thing! Trouble is, I am getting these messages in the logs: Oct 17 20:54:48 debian kernel: ALSA ../alsa-kernel/core/pcm_lib.c:123: Unexpected hw_pointer value (stream = 0, delta: -1024, max jitter = 5120): wrong interrupt acknowledge? Anyone got any ideas?
