Hi there, I'm currently trying to get a HDSP + Multiface system working, but not getting any sound out, so I've got a couple of questions:
Firstly, I've managed to compile and make the drivers. I can use aplay to play files, I just don't hear anything on any channel 1) What's the deal with cards, devices and subdevices? I was expecting to see multiple devices for the card, but only one input and output devices. If i'm calling one of the standard pcms, how do I address the different channels? And which pcm should I use? 2) External syncing. If I set the box to sync externally, then I'm not allowed to play anything, as it can't set the sample rate. Do I need to make some kind of plugin pcm? Thanks for any help - I have read most of the online docs, and figured out what I can, but I'm stuck for ideas now.
