HI all , I am new to this list.
I am installing alsa i got it from CVS after i installed one from a tarball... it build ok and installed.. i rebuilt the kernel now when i cat /proc/asound/version it says ": Advanced Linux Sound Architecture Driver Version 0.5.12a.
