What version of gcc did you use to compile your kernel? Also, what version did you use to compile alsa-driver? I would strongly recommend you use gcc-2.95.3 to compile both. Failing that, I would strongly recommend you use the same gcc version to compile both the kernel and alsa-driver (alsa-libs, alsa-utils, and alsa-oss are not subject to the same caveats, however). When I first downloaded 0.9.0rc2, I had a kernel compiled with gcc-2.95.3. I tried compiling alsa-driver with gcc-3.1, and I had the exact same problem as you're having now. I recompiled alsa-driver with gcc-2.95.3, and the problems went away. -- Kelledin "If a server crashes in a server farm and no one pings it, does it still cost four figures to fix?" ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ Alsa-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/alsa-user
