help. Getting sound to work I am a 7.3 redcrap with a newly and functional 2-4-19 kernel with sound modules compiled on an IBM stinkpad 600e 2645-4au. IBM docs say I have a Cirrus Logic CS 4239 and that I should use the CS4232 sound drivers from OSS for sound.
sound config utility says I have a CS4610 SoundFusion Audio Accelerator. Does Sound Config lie? Well, I can compile the alsa-driver & lib packages but util starts choking & modprobe wont install the cs4232 drivers init_module no such device error message & failed.
