Hi, I've just migrated from the Creative Labs binary emu10k1 module to the Alsa emu10k1 module. The installation went pretty smooth and I even got my SPDIF-OUT (COAXIAL) to work ;-) !! But I'm struggling to route an audio source, which is connected to the SPDIF-IN of my Hoontech add-on, to SPDIF-OUT. I didn't have these problems with the Creative Labs binary module.
I've used the following module options : # ALSA portion alias char-major-116 snd options snd snd_major=116 snd_cards_limit=1 alias snd-card-0 snd-emu10k1 options snd-emu10k1 snd_index=0 snd_id="Emu10k1" snd_extin=0x0fc3 snd_extout=0x1f0f *** Creative Card w/Digital out + Digital I/O 2 [0x0fc3/0x1f0f] *** # OSS/Free portion alias char-major-14 soundcore alias sound-slot-0 snd-card-0 alias sound-service-0-0 snd-mixer-oss alias sound-service-0-1 snd-seq-oss alias sound-service-0-3 snd-pcm-oss alias sound-service-0-8 snd-seq-oss alias sound-service-0-12 snd-pcm-oss options snd-pcm-oss snd_dsp_map=0 snd_adsp_map=3 When I run alsamixer, I don't see any control to enable SPDIF-IN. Any help would be greatly appreciated ! Thx, Bram ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by: OSDN - Tired of that same old cell phone?
