can anyone confirm that the SPDIF input on the Midiman Audiphile does work with the latest cvs drivers (which I downloaded and installed today)? I'm running linux 2.4.18-4GB i686 (from SuSe 8.0). I have the card working with the analog i/o and also the digital output works fine. Only the digital input fails. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong, and it may be a stupid question, but why must I tell arecord the sample rate (arecord -f cd)?
