no, it's recognized but the mixer and its connection is not implemented, as you guessed. i once heard from a guy of midiman that 1010LT is a strip-down version of 1010, but also someone mentioned on the alsa devel (user?) ml that it's fairly different from 1010. i have no idea who is right. you can try ice1712.c rev.1.20 on cvs. (check out this file with -r1.20 option.) this includes (most likely) wrong hack for 1010LT, so don't be surprised if it doesn't work at all.
