Hello, I'm having trouble getting the full functionality out of my sb live under alsa.
- Rear channels I cant get sound through the rear channels. The front channels are ok. I think I understand the mixer settings(!). I use GDAM to open the "front" and "rear" pcm devices(i tried with other progs also) doing this, i get mixer settings for "emu10k1 pcm" and "emu10k1 pcm 1". I maximize all the sends (so all left,right.mono will go to front rear and center registers) I ensure the routing registers are set to the values specified in the "sb live mixer" document. (registers 0 1 2 3 repeatedly) 0,1 is for front, and 2,3 is for rear, so it should be ok. I also maximize the final output controllers, so I can see nothing wrong. I have tried loading/unloading the creative opensource drivers, and then alsa. Nothing works..... - midi synth I try loading a sf2 bank with sfxload, but i cant get any sound out of the midi devices.
