I have 2 motherboards with onboard audio (VIA8233), but they have different performances, one of them has VIA1612A and the other VIA1611 codec.
The one with VIA1611 uses the ALSA driver without problem, but the one with VIA1612A can not use the "PCM" control to change the PCM volume, but can use the "Phone out" to control the volume instead. Any idea for this?
