I am using a standard 8.2 install - didn't need to do that with rc1 to get my delta 66 card going. Just checked and there is the System.map in the src directory, but the procedure still worked. I found that the messages at boot regarding all the unresolved symbols were a result of using the --with-cards option in configure. At one stage that seemed to be necessary, but it turned out that switching off devfs was the most important step in getting it going. In summary then: 1. Switch off devfs 2. Follow Garrick's procedure and it works - at least for me!
