I've been trying to find out how to get hardware monitoring ie route digital mixer to Analog out 1 and 2 on my Hoontech/ST Audio DSP24 C-Port setup, and have found that the required controls are not being shown on the pathbay/router tab of the Envy 24 control utility. All i'm seeing is routing options for streams 9 and 10 (S/PDIF), streams 1 to 8 (H/W in) are not being displayed (missing completely). If I comment out a test of snd_ctl_elem_read in patchbay.c then all controls appear. Also get this message starting envy24control. [root@T1000 envy24control]# ./envy24control Unable to read Delta S/PDIF output state: No such file or directory Unable to write Delta S/PDIF Output Defaults: No such file or directory
Is this a setup problem or a bug? Does any one else with a C-port have this problem? Using ALSA 0.9.0-rc1., RedHat 7.2.
