This is entirely dependent on your needs and budget. If you're looking at RME stuff then I assume you need pro quality with plenty of i/o. What type of i/o digital, analog, some of both? Look at the RME HDSP stuff. The driver for the pci has been in Alsa CVS for over a week. One of the HDSP setups features eight analog and eight digital i/o (adat) while the other has 24 digital (adat). I think that's what they feature. These cards also have midi, spdif, hardware metering, etc. I own a 9652 which is an excellent pro card but if I was buying today, it'd be an HDSP for me. > I was wondering how they compare with newer products > (Midiman DiO 2496, > Terratecs), so if someone has a clue, I'll be glad > to learn :) I own several midiman cards; two DIO 2496 and an Audiophile 2496. I'd get the RME HDSP. But, that's my needs, not yours. parker > > Thanks > > Unet > > _______________________________________________________________ > > Don't miss the 2002 Sprint PCS Application > Developer's Conference > August 25-28 in Las Vegas -- > http://devcon.sprintpcs.com/adp/index.cfm > > _______________________________________________ > Alsa-user mailing list > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/alsa-user __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
