Hello! I just noticed that I am getting some xruns when I start recording with arecord. These xruns are quite long: xrun!!! (at least 2949.300 ms long) xrun!!! (at least 755.637 ms long) xrun!!! (at least 1219.529 ms long)
But after three or four xruns the recording is smooth and without problems. It doesn't depend on the load the machine is serving. I am using ens1370(SB PCI128) alsa 0.9.0rc1, linux 2.4.18 + ll patch (in fact it doesn't matter if lowlatency is on or off). Could somebody please explain the output from arecord -v: Max peak (8192 samples): 05442 (0x1542) #### 16% Max peak (8192 samples): 13013 (0x32d5) ######## 39% Miha... - Miha Tomšič --- C. na postajo 55 -- SI-1351 Brezovica pri Lj. --- SLOVENIA - _______________________________________________ Alsa-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/alsa-user
