Hi-

Would anyone who has a working multi-channel configuration for the RME
Hammerfall 9652 (or 9636) be willing to post their config files (in particular,
the .asoundrc), along with an explanation of how exactly to differentiate
devices (SP/DIF, ADAT) and channels (I believe there are 26 available, but 8
would suffice) in "software space". I have looked through the archives and
docs for info, but what I have found has not lead to a working setup.

I am hoping for something like:

"Identify the Hammerfall's devices/channels with .asoundrc like this..."

"Route to these devices at the command line or within an app by sending signal
to /proc/asound/dev/x-pcm> or hw:plugw, etc."
