Hi. I did make clean for the alsa lib, driver, and utils to make sure that no old stuff was floating around the system. I actually had it working before, but somehow lost the binaries for the utils when I went to rebuild my 2.4.18 kernel with the parport module. Now when I try to recompile the alsa utils so I can use my sound card again, they won't recompile. The process terminates with make: All recursive error 1. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance! n Mon, 15 Apr 2002, joy ping wrote:
