I've got a SB PCI-512 that's giving me a hell of a time. I can get sound out of it, but only from the right channel. It seems to me that there is somthing screwed up in the internal PCM routing. However I'm not a EMU10k expert by any means so I have no idea where to start looking for possible changes to make.
I did install gamix and diddled with the PCM Routing options and got the
right channel to be louder or silent, but nothing out of the left. Drop
me an email if you want specific outputs from amixer for routing or
whatever. The modules.conf I am using is:
alias snd-card-0 snd-emu10k1
options snd-card-emu10k1 snd_index=0 snd_extin=0x0003 snd_extout=0x1f03
Any help would be appreciated. This is driving me up the wall. Thanks!
