Hello!
I know this has been asked many times before, but I'm gonna ask it again.
Is it possible to support many programs accessing the same soundcard at
the same time with soundcards that doesn't have multiple channels in the
hardware..?
I know this works with sblive and friends, but most soundcards do not have
hw-mixing of many channels..
OSS/commercial supports this and it works well.
And don't say esd/arts is the solution.. it is NOT :)
In what level should this be implemented in ALSA? in ALSA-lib?
