I am currently trying to compile the alsa beta in an effort to get my Delta-66 card to function. I have the complete kernel source installed and am using Mandrake 8.2.
When I run the ./configure script for the driver I get this message: checking for kernel version... expr: syntax error expr: syntax error expr: syntax error failed (probably missing /lib/modules/2.4.18-6mdk/build/include/linux/version.h) If I go and look in that directory the version.h file *IS* there.
