As a follow up on my problems with getting sound out
of
this card. Not knowing what else to do I have modified
the ice1712.c file to make it see my 1010lt as a 1010.

This looks like it almost works, the sound drivers
load, i can aplay and arecord using plughw:0 and when
playing a reasonable signal level even comes up on the

envy24control panel.
If I look in /proc/asound all things look in place
however in pcm0c and pcm0p directories under sub0
i am not getting any sw_params or hw_params (both are
closed) and also status is closed...
Is there anything anyone can do to help? I know that
this card is new to the market (having come out 6
months or so ago) but I guess I was confident that it
could be made to work without too much trouble (given
that all other m-audio cards work without troubles..).

otherwise i guess i need to wait for the oss drivers
which apparently should be ready in some form by mid
april..

as before, any help appreciated.
