I have asked this several time on the list and I am still having trouble getting answers, so I will try again. I have a SBLive 5.1 hooked to a DTT 3500 speaker system. I can play sounds such as mp3, cd audio and so forth but the quality is not what I would expect. Is there a howto somewhere on how to set this configuration up? What cable and i/o ports shoud I be using to bet the best sound. The only way I can adjust the volume is to change the wave slider on alsamixer. Should I be using devfs, soes that make things work better. I have alot more questions but If someone could just give me a glimmer of hope it would be greatly appreciated.
