I have been trying to find detailed information on this
chipset can't find anything worth reading. I am using a dell inspiron
8100 running Gentoo, trying to use Alsa for sound. I can get it to work to some
degree but have not found a way to adjust bass or treble.....this thing is
tiny!!! Must fix.....for my sanity. Some documentation claims this is
controlled in the ac97 codec. Is there a way for me to control these settings
with alsa or do I need to use the commercial Thanks, Jason |
