I found that the xrun error goes away after i do : aplay --mmap mywav.wav
After this, playing and recording sound seems to work correctly, though mono .wav playback is glitchy - the about half a second of audio 'repeats' after the end of the file. e.g. i have a .wav file of someone speaking the word 'marijuana' and aplay --mmap marijuana.wav sounds like 'marijuanaana' I will try upgrading to 0.9beta12 this evening, but my Buz is now recording almost perfectly using the SonicVibes, though my mixer-settings disappear every reboot, despite using alsactl store / alsactl restore. -Pete _______________________________________________ Alsa-user mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/alsa-user
