Well, your card has full duplex stereo 16 bit 44.1/48 Khz PCM AD/DA
capability and can communicate with external MIDI devices connected to
the game port. Everything else is done in software :/ This is true 
independant of the platform. Note the word 'emulation' in Creative Lab's
advertising.
