I have the 0.9 alsa modules running on a Thinkpad 600e (CS4232) and almost everything is running perfectly. One little problem though. I have many programs that want to capture what is coming in on /dev/dsp. This is currently soft linked to /dev/dsp0. That translates to the "Line" input on the oss mixer. However when you plug anything into the line input on the Thinkpad, it comes in on the "Line 1" input, not the "Line" input.
